Komatsu New Zealand has delivered its next-generation PC2000-11R excavator to Bathurst Resources, marking another key milestone in the strong and growing partnership between the two companies.

Bathurst Resources is New Zealand's largest metallurgical coal operator, producing more than 1.8 million tonnes of coal each year, of which 80 per cent is for steelmaking for both domestic and export use.

The PC2000-11R will be in use at Bathurst's historic Rotowaro mine in Waikato, which has been producing coal for more than 140 years and has 200 people working onsite.

The Powerscreen® Trakpactor 480SR horizontal shaft impactor is designed for processing soft- to medium-hard primary and secondary materials such as natural rock and construction-derived materials like asphalt, recycling and demolition waste.

In early 2023, Infrastructure Cook Islands (ICI) initiated a search for crushing and screening equipment to support an upcoming project on Manihiki Island, part of the Cook Islands Pa Enua (Outer Islands).
