The Lokotrack LT200HPX is available in this country from MIMICO, the New Zealand distributor of Metso Outotec's range of mobile and static crushing and screening equipment. This exciting new model will be on display at the 2022 edition of QuarryNZ, which is set for July 13 to 15 in New Plymouth.

The LT200HPX is a compact yet efficient unit, designed for secondary and tertiary hard rock crushing in a two or three stage crushing process. Inside your cone crusher

The basic principle is straightforward: the material to be crushed (the feed) drops into the crushing chamber. The mantle is a moving part that gyrates in an eccentric motion. That is, it doesn’t remain completely centred – it swings slightly as it rotates, continually altering the gap between the mantle and the concave (the ring outside the mantle that stays fixed in place.) As the mantle moves, it crushes the material against the concave at the points where the gap is smallest (the stones in the feed are also compressed against each other – that’s known as interparticle crushing).

Scalping Screens

The Sandvik Mobile Scalping Screen range comprises the QE141, QE241, QE342, and QE442 models. Scalping screens are predominantly used in the production of oversized product. By design, these models have a smaller hopper and are loaded directly via an excavator. The main wide conveyor carries the oversized product, with smaller auxiliary conveyors expelling fines and mid-sized product from the sides. Scalping screens tend to have a smaller footprint and are well suited to confined jobsites. Scalping screens are often used in recycling and organic material processing applications.
